Yep! Chapters 7 and 11. But 11 is just a fleeting reference and I can change it, it’s no big deal. I had no idea when I started this that my cast list would get so big! I’m going to have to do some kind of flow chart or table. As of tomorrow evening I think I’m going to have to set up some kind of filing system.

Worst chapter of Dalton Abbey EVER WRITTEN EVER just got emailed to the amazing and wonderful beta. I am certain that she will help me to fix it in due course.

Chapter 11 could be on a computer screen near you before Christmas, would you believe?!

Still annoyed that the Christmas chapter I had planned will either not be happening or will be taking place in, like, June 2013 or something because I am useless.

First draft of Dalton Abbey Chapter 11 is finally, finally finally after all these monthsfinished!

I need to tidy it up before I sent it to the ever amazing Mims for inspection, but OH MY GOD does it feel good to have this finally typed up into actual sentences! This has been such a long time coming and if any of you are still out there waiting to read this then you have no idea how grateful I am to you. Thank you so much.

Just somebody please help me.

No, really. I’m 3,500 words in and stuck again. And I’m COPYING FROM PAPER how can I be stuck?

Grr!

I should clarify that by ‘copying from paper’, I mean copying from what I’ve already written down on paper, not copying from some random paper… though maybe that’ll help.

Oooooohhh Dalton Abbey I am flailing like first I.’ve heard about it in a while wheeeee

I KNOW!!!! I’ve been SO behind and SO stressed about it and I’ve not posted a new chapter in MONTHS and I was meant to do uni work today but I just wrote Dalton anyway because I’m badasssss!

If Mims actually gets Dalton Abbey tonight it’s gonna be the worst piece of writing I’ve ever sent to her. EVER.

I have a whole day off. Alone. Just me and my computer.

While I know that I should be doing uni work - that 2000 word Creative Nonfiction piece, that 5000 word Gothic Fiction essay and that 10,000 word dissertation/project - I think I’m going to use today…

to write Dalton Abbey, Chapter 11.

The plan is to have it sent off to Mimsy by the end of the day. Yes. That is the plan. Just do the plan, Rachie. Do the plan.

Just a casual note to thank this lovely lady right here for being freakin’ AWESOME. Crazy outburst of Dalton Abbey inspiration has been given the go-ahead by her and my story has a whole new layer of intricacy to it than it did yesterday. SO EXCITED!

I’m hoping I get this next chapter out there SOON so that I can continue on with this epic journey of Blaine and Kurt in period clothing and you can all read (and hopefully enjoy!) said journey!

I dont feel I NEED to read it, I WANT to. :D And what it comes to reading the last page: I did it when I was younger but I stopped when the last page of HP3 told me Sirius is Harry’s godfather.

Thank you! That’s very sweet of you! I hope you like it if and when you do read it! :)

I’ve never been able to read the last past. The one time I did it I ruined a plot twist and I vowed never to do it again!

That’s one reason why I appreciate and admire movies and books where they tell you then end RIGHT at the beginning and it’s still tragic and heartbreaking. Moulin Rouge for instance. One of the first lines of that movie he tells the audience that the woman he loves is dead, yet her death is still one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever watched. You need such fantastic storytelling for something like that to be effective.

I’m that person who always reads the last page of the book. So. :P

Ah, you’re one of thoseeee people! I get irrationally mad at people like you. I shouldn’t. It’s your choice. But I just can’t do it. I was spoiled for Harry Potter & the OOTP and I cried because I hate being spoiled for books :P

What’s your email address? (Inbox or text it to me) I’ll email you! :)

sounds interesting! I really should read that fic. I will! And I know the feeling, bc even though I’ve told alot to my sister, she doesnt know the important plot twist, because I will give her my finished draft to read and I want to know her reaction

Haha! Thanks! You don’t have to, by the way! :P It’s not a patch on Downton Abbey, but it’s Kurt and Blaine in period clothing so that works for me :P Haha yes! Exactly! I like people to let me know their genuine reactions to my writing, so I hate to give anything away for fear that it’ll ruin their reaction!
